But the people are demonstrating again by Neta Dekel
The State of Israel is traumatized. The year of 2023 was a terrible year that began with a government attempt to make a regimen revolution, and continued with the terrible massacre on October 7th. 1,200 civilians were massacred. Women, men, children, the elderly. They were murdered, raped, burned and severely abused. 250 civilians were abducted from their homes, half of whom are still being held in terrible conditions in the Gaza Strip. Since then, we are at war. The reasons for the war are to release the abductees and restore security to the residents. There is no more justified war. After all, on October 6th there was no war, and it was forced upon us.
But the people are demonstrating again. This time the goal is to bring about early elections and replace the government that caused so much damage to the people and the country. Replace the government that refuses to accept responsibility for the greatest failure in the history of the State of Israel. A government that puts its own good before the good of the people.
The people are demonstrating, and the police are more violent than ever, in the spirit of the government. Every Saturday, many thousands take to the streets and cry out their pain.
