Recently, I participated in a photography project called "Beauty" with some fellow photographers.
I decided to approach the project without any stereotypes in mind. However, I was struggling to come up with a unique idea. One day, while walking around with my camera, I noticed a white car in a shady alley with a bright red rear light that caught my attention. The clean look of the car's body contrasted well with the red light, and I found myself captivated. I took some photos, attempting to combine the red rear lights with the car's structure, such as the fuel door and gaps in the carriage. After editing the photos at home, I found that the minimalism and contrasts made them quite interesting and beautiful. This sparked the idea for my project, and for the next few days, I went out to the streets to find white cars with striking red rear lights.
I learned that beauty can be found anywhere, even in the nooks and corners of the streets; you just have to spot it!
Since my youth, I have enjoyed taking photographs, first in black and white only. Later on, I switched to colour but kept keen on black and white. Since the early 2000's I was engaged in concert photography until Covid broke out. Now, I am strongly interested in street photography.
