- Are you a professional photographer? Photography for me is a big love - I'm not working at it yet but it's my dream to do what I love and it's the art of street photography.
- Why street photography? I think street photography is the most interesting genre in all kinds of photography - to get to the place and examine human behaviour - to look at it - and to succeed in catching one small moment of time and freezing it. It is the creation of art - and in every moment and wherever something happens, nothing is the same and there are endless moments. That's why street photography is the most interesting and dynamic thing there is
- What do you look for in an image? I am looking for a story, looking to stop a little moment in time, searching for light and shadow and situations of human behaviors: like bringing faces, silhouettes, and movement.
- Where in the world would you most like to photograph?
The place I most want to photograph is in New York. There are angles of light very special because of the tall buildings, in addition to the very interesting metro me there
- Who would you most like to photograph? I would like to photograph children in Ethiopia. Or in India
- Your favourite street image of your own to date and why? It is very difficult to pick one picture from all the pictures because for me a good picture is capturing a certain moment in time. When it happens it's like magic. If I had to choose this moment that I was on Pesach in Bnei Brak – and they burned there, because of the holiday - just by the fire there was a boy with orange hair in front of the fire and I shot straight with the camera on the boy ... It was a very special moment
- Your favourite piece of equipment? I use Canon 760 D But the dream is Fuji.
- Is photography art? Definitely yes. You have to think outside the box before you shoot the shot, it's like drawing in light
- Black And White Or Colour? It's funny that if I were asked this question before the outside year I would say black and white certainly!
But today I understand that there is a whole world of colour - it depends very much on the picture
- What are your thoughts on editing? It's good to edit the picture a bit and it's necessary and important - not always what you want to come out because of all sorts of variables - I'm in favour of easy editing, but no more than 3 minutes on an image
