My name is Orna Naor and I am a documentary and street photographer from Tel Aviv. I am passionate about capturing human moments and gestures; observing touch, looks, and interactions between people. I have traveled the world and photographed people from all walks of life, showcasing their faces through various cultural ceremonies, daily life events, and holidays.
Along with street photography, I have also been focusing on documentary series photography for the past few years. Since 2017, I have been documenting protests against the government in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, as well as recent war activities. I have also worked on several projects, including "Women of the Sea," which documents peaceful coexistence at sea, "I'm Just a Child," aimed at rehumanizing Palestinian children, "Larger Than Life," which documents various events related to children with cancer, and "Transparent," which highlights the lives of the homeless in Tel Aviv.
My aim in all these projects is to bring back humanity to humanity. If one picture can touch just one person, then I consider my work to be successful. My photographs have been exhibited in Israel and around the world, including in Local Witness, Tel Aviv Sea, Israel Photography Festival, Miami Street Festival, Streets Sans Frontieres, London Street Festival, EinZweiBlicke, and others. Additionally, my work has been published in various magazines and newspapers, including "Haaretz" blog, L'Arch Magazine, lens Magazine 50 shades of black, and others.
During the pandemic, I covered the lock downs, with all its implications. In the last 2 years I’m doing more projects than single images.

I like giving a new meaning to the banality of reality; by using lights and shadows, signs and graffiti, juxtapositions and different angles, I’m creating stories. Sometimes I use flash but in most of my work I try to use natural light.
